A Thankless Job That Taught Me Everything

9 August 2025

Years ago, I worked long hours cold-calling and knocking on doors—often in neighborhoods where people weren’t exactly excited to hear from me. It was draining. Rejection came fast and often. But that job taught me how to show up fully, even when no one’s clapping.

It shaped how I lead today. I respect the grind. I respect people’s time. And I believe every interaction—no matter how small—is a chance to make an impression.

Now, whether I’m coaching a sales rep or walking a client through a new strategy, I carry that same grounded energy. Humility, consistency, and hustle still win.
